Anxiety is a feeling of worry, nervousness, or unease, typically about an imminent event or something with an uncertain outcome. It is a normal emotion that everyone experiences from time to time, however, when it becomes difficult to manage and disrupts daily life, it may be an anxiety disorder.

Anxiety disorder is a mental health condition that causes an individual to experience intense and persistent feelings of fear and worry. Symptoms of anxiety disorder can include panic attacks, difficulty sleeping, difficulty concentrating, irritability, restlessness, and a general feeling of unease.

Hypnotherapy works by inducing a relaxed state, which allows the you to access your subconscious mind. In this state, we work together so that negative thought patterns and beliefs can be identified and addressed - but don't worry, you don't have to share any thoughts with me for this to work! Hypnotherapy can also be used to teach you relaxation techniques, such as deep breathing or visualisation, which can be useful for managing anxiety symptoms.
